Advisory Board
With extensive expertise, composed of internationally recognized leaders, LIDE is a multi-lateral entity, covering 34 economic sectors, having each sector coordinated by a committee of Brazil's leading businessmen and authorities, which transversally develop a series of events, national and international forums that have become references in the Brazilian corporate market.
Luiz Fernando Furlan - Chairman of the Board
Member of the Board of Directors of BRF, Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade from 2003 to 2007.
João Doria - Founder & Co-Chairman of the Board
Founder of LIDE, in 2018 elected Governor of São Paulo, Brazil's largest state and was the first mayor of São Paulo elected in the first round Since 2012, has been included in the rankings of the most influential Brazilian citizens.
Izabella Teixeira - Co-Chairwoman of the Board
Minister of the Environment and Climate Change of Brazil (2010-2016), co-chair of the UN International Panel on Natural Resources, Board Member of UNDESA and Brazilian National Bank for Economic Social Development (BNDES).
Henrique Meirelles - Co-Chairman of the Board
Minister of Finance of Brazil (2016-2018), President of Central Bank of Brazil (2003-2011), Secretary of Finance of the State of São Paulo (2018-2022), as well as holding important Board positions globally.
Celso Lafer - Co-Chairman of the Board
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil (2001-2002), Minister of Development, Industry & Commerce (1999). Was responsible for organizing the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in the emblematic Rio-92.
João Doria Neto - President of LIDE
João Doria Neto is the President of LIDE, since 2017. Over 10 years experience in the media and communications sector, João holds a degree in Business Administration from FAAP and executive degrees in Strategy and Innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
